Our goal at 208 Design+Build is to provide our clients with Owner's Representation focused Construction Management services focused on assisting our clients in building there Zero Energy Ready, sustainable, energy efficiency focused custom home or custom renovation or addition from the point of Project Initiation thru Project Closeout, and we typically maintain those relationship we build with our valued clients beyond the Certificate of Occupancy  and final close out stage. And even if we do not start a project with a client from the Project Initiation phase noted below, as is the case quite often, our commitment to our goals to provide our clients with a superior service remain the same.

We are southwest Idaho's energy efficient build on your land and urban infill focused custom home and renovation design and building company. 208 Design+Build Custom Homes and Renovations is focused around a sustainable, energy efficiency focused and healthier higher standard of living approach with regards to indoor air quality and building construction. This approach is going to vary with each project based on what the project is but the general methods and details are much the same on any custom home, addition, renovation or building.  

A custom shop or RV garage is very likely not going to have the same measured approach to Zero Energy Ready as a custom home for example. At 208 Design+Build Custom Homes and Renovations we specialize in utilizing innovative and energy efficiency focused custom plans and designs, proven building science and fine craftsmanship to design and build Zero Energy Ready custom.  This is one of the first steps in any design and building process, whether it be a new custom home, a whole home renovation or an addition. And in many cases with our residential clients this stage has already been started when they call us...which is okay. We work to help define the project's goals and scope and assist in determining its feasibility based those goals and scope of work.

Securing necessary funding, permits and buy-ins if applicable. Our clients may have already begun the process of sourcing funding or may already have that in place when they reach out to us. If not we also have the experience and ability to guide them and resources they can reach out too. Many owner-builder loans processes require a design, an estimated cost build and a contractor to manage the project secured before final funding for a project is approved. 

This process often happens prior or along with the Project Approvals stage. While all these steps or phases are laid out in a very defined list. The process of designing and building a home is an every moving process and with our experience building we know how to navigate this process with our clients. During the design process, our team works closely with you to help plan and design your dream project. We take into consideration all aspects of the project, including budget, timeline, and your specific needs and preferences.

Executing plans, including the site preparation, building and inspections are just a part of the construction management process we oversee as an owner's rep focused construction management contractor.
